
Each weekday, Pulse of the Planet provides its listeners with a two-minute sound portrait of Planet Earth, tracking the rhythms of nature, culture and science worldwide and blending interviews and extraordinary natural sound.
Pulse of the Planet is broadcast over 209 public and commercial stations around the world and on the Voice of America and the Armed Forces Radio Network, reaching over 415,000 listeners daily. The series is presented by the National Science Foundation.

Megan Dzwonkowski - Project Development Manager Megan Dzwonkowski spent the first four years of her career fundraising for the American Red Cross and then the National Kidney Foundation in Washington DC, overseeing special events, producing galas and coordinating donor outreach. In 1999 she left the non-profit world and accepted a position at Discovery Communications, Inc. where she managed the Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge. She also worked on Discovery's partnerships with the National Parks Foundation and the American Film Institute. Megan graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in International Relations. |
